I'm thankful for this cute little ponytail

I was finally able to pull Ava's hair back into a ponytail today.

She looked so precious!

A Wicked Valentines

2.16.2009

It finally happened! The date that I've been waiting for since the end of September finally came.

We dropped Ava off and headed into the city. Before the play we stopped by The Cheesecake Factory for some delicious food. Scratch that, we had some delicious food at the mall food court! Traffic took twice as long as expected to get into the city, so we had about 10 minutes to scarf down our food before we had to leave to walk down to the theater. But I must admit, the San Francisco mall food court is quite classy. I mean just look at what Josh is eating. It was amazing.

After eating we walked as briskly as a 7 month pregnant woman could and arrived at the Orpheum Theatre with 5 minutes to spare. Thank goodness!

The theater had a strict no pictures policy. But we quickly shot this pic before the usher came and yelled at another couple who did the same thing.

The play was spectacular. I was worried that Josh would hate it, but that was totally not the case. The acting, singing, sets and lighting effects were awesome.

I still have the "Popular" song in my head, so why not get it stuck in yours too! So here's a little playlist of the my fav songs from the play. (To listen you have to be on our site)

Is a love for vacuuming genetic?

Probably not, but my little girl shares my same passion for vacuuming. I'm so proud! Just say the words, "Should Mommy vacuum?" will send Ava in a frenzy trying to put away all of her toys. (I must admit, sometimes I vacuum just so Ava will put away her toys in the living room) I wish the pic had sound because not only is Ava pretending to vacuum but she is adding her very own sound effects. Isn't it these little moments that makes being a mother totally worth it.

By the way, I LOVE my Dyson vacuum. I've already had it for 4 wonderful years and I wouldn't trade it in for anything else. Ava and I give it 4 thumbs up!

My Favorite Little Person

2.10.2009

So I realize it has been way too long since I have posted a picture of my favorite little person. She totally makes my day when she whips out one of those crooked smiles.

Sidenote: Notice the two sippy cups in the bottom of the picture. Ava likes to have her choice between milk and orange juice during her meals. It's not uncommon to see her take a sip out of one just to quickly place it down and take a swig of the other.
