Starring Reid

8.20.2009

If you haven't noticed, this will be my 7th post this week. It might have something to do with that fact that Josh has been working every night. Just maybe :) I was able to edit two more movies tonight. The first one is of Reid giggling. We think. Either he's giggling or screaming for help. You be the judge.

The second flick is show casing my sons new found ability of rolling over. We didn't know if Reid could roll over on his own for about a week because every time we would find him on his stomach, Ava would be suspiciously nearby.

Goodnight Reidy

There is nothing cuter than seeing siblings helping each other. Ava has really taken on the big sister role. She's such a good little helper.

Where's Ava?

8.19.2009

Books are strewn across the entire floor, clothes have been taken off their hangers and thrown on the ground, and the clothes are no longer nicely folder in her drawers (you'll just have to trust me on that one!). But I'm ecstatic because little Missy decided to take a nap TODAY! Can you find her?

Can you believe she actually took a nap in that position?

Ava has been trying to give up her naps all summer. I could probably count on both hands how many naps she's taken. If any of you have any suggestions on how to get the wee ones to take a nap, please tell. My sanity depends on it!

Just because

The following pictures are just because I took some cute pics of the kiddos. And personally, I can never get enough of these cutie pies.

Mom, I want to help

As I was busily putting dishes away into the dishwasher Ava came running over screaming "Mom, I want to help!" Hmmmm. A toddler, sharp knives, glasses, and a cutting board recently used for cutting raw meat. One of those things just doesn't belong! Not wanting to miss out on this opportunity for having help I asked Ava to go help Reid who I could hear crying in the next room. My little helper went to fulfill her task. Surprisingly his crying stopped almost immediately. After finishing the dishes I walked into the other room to find this.

A head pillow, A toy dog, a huge red ball, a container of Quaker Oats, a rattle, a vibrating elephant, her stuffed monkey, her stuffed elephant, her stuffed tiger, 5 plastic fish, a duck rattle, a rattle chew toy, his blanket and his binky.

I guess Ava knew what she was doing because this little boy doesn't look sad anymore.

Sharing is Caring

I have the best daughter ever. Just look at what she gave me!

Here's a closer shot.

I asked Ava if I could have a piece of her graham cracker and she kindly obliged. I'm glad she could spare a mere morsel for her dear mother!

Game in Progress

Raise your hand if your husband can build games for the iPhone. Just so you know, I'm raising my hands :) One of the projects that Josh has been working on at work has been building a game for the iPhone. Not just any game, but a game inspired from the Bunting family's favorite past time. If you look closely in the picture you can get a sneak peek of the game. Ava and I (yep I said Ava) have had fun getting to test out different builds of the game. The coolest part is that you can compete with people on other iPhones. Sweet right?! I can't wait till Josh has the final version complete. Don't worry, I'll totally post about it!
